SquashWith SQUASHMETRIC app · coming soon

These are the official terms of service of the SQUASHMETRIC app.

Terms of Service (English)

Last updated: October 22, 2026 · App: SQUASHMETRIC (com.ghosting.squash), phone + Wear OS

These terms cover the current SQUASHMETRIC app. There is no account and no server, and tournament hosting and coach membership management are not available yet. We will update these terms before such features are added.

1. Purpose

These terms set out the conditions for using SQUASHMETRIC (the "Service"), a mobile application provided by SquashWith (the "Company").

2. What the Service does

  1. The Service paces squash ghosting training, estimates VO2max from a fitness test, prescribes four-week periodized training, and analyses heart rate received from a Wear OS watch.
  2. There is no sign-up. Your records are stored only on your device; the Company does not collect or hold them. See the Privacy Policy.
  3. The Company may change the Service. Changes that disadvantage users are announced at least 30 days before they take effect.

3. Using the Service

  1. The agreement takes effect when you install and run the app and accept these terms.
  2. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app. As there is no account, there is no separate withdrawal process.

4. Fees

  1. Launch offer: for three months from launch (21 November 2026), that is through 20 February 2027, every feature of the Service is free. During this period the app has no payment features and you are not charged anything.
  2. After the free period the Company plans to make some or all of the Service a paid subscription. Before doing so, the Company will announce in the app, the store listing and on its website, at least 30 days in advance, what becomes paid, the price and billing period, the payment method, the date of the change and how to cancel, and will update these terms.
  3. You will be charged only if you separately agree. If you do not agree, you will not be charged; the end of the free period alone never triggers an automatic payment. Records stored on your device are not deleted if you do not agree.
  4. Early-bird price: when the paid subscription starts, the Company may run a one-month early-bird offer. If you subscribe during that offer, your subscription renews at the early-bird price for as long as it continues without interruption. If you cancel, or your subscription ends, and you subscribe again later, the regular price at that time applies. A renewal delayed by a payment problem does not count as an interruption if payment is made within the grace period set by Google Play. The early-bird price and offer period will be announced under item 2.
  5. Terms on payment methods, automatic renewal and cancellation, withdrawal and refunds will be added to these terms through the process in item 2 when the paid subscription starts.

5. Withdrawal and refunds

The Service currently has no payments, so this section does not apply. When the Service becomes paid, terms on withdrawal and refunds under Korean e-commerce law will be placed here (section 4, item 5).

6. Health notice and limitation of liability

  1. The Service is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, relieve or prevent any disease. Fitness test results, VO2max estimates, prescribed intensity and heart rate analysis are for training reference only and do not replace medical judgement.
  2. The fitness test is a maximal-effort exercise. The app asks seven health questions (PAR-Q) beforehand and recommends consulting a doctor if any apply. You decide whether to proceed.
  3. If you have cardiovascular, respiratory or musculoskeletal risk factors, consult a doctor before using the Service.
  4. Stop immediately if you feel chest pain or dizziness. In an emergency, call your local emergency number. The Service is not for emergency response or real-time health monitoring.
  5. Heart rate measured by a watch can be inaccurate depending on the device and how it is worn.
  6. The Company is not liable for injury or health problems arising from use of the Service except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

7. Your obligations

You must not reverse-engineer or decompile the Service, access it by automated means, interfere with the normal operation of the Service, infringe intellectual property rights, or otherwise break applicable law.

8. Your data

  1. You own the training records you create.
  2. Records are stored on your device and the Company does not hold them. The Company therefore cannot restore records lost through a lost or reset device, or an uninstalled app. If Android backup is enabled, records may be restored from your own Google account backup.
  3. You can delete records within the app.

9. Intellectual property

Rights in the software, design, trade marks and content of the Service belong to the Company.

10. Limitation

The Company is not liable where the Service cannot be provided due to force majeure, nor for a user not achieving the results they hoped for.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are first addressed in good faith; failing that, they go to the court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.

Effective date

These terms take effect on 21 November 2026. They replace the subscription and payment sections (sections 4 and 5) of the previous terms, effective 21 September 2026.
